Frequently Asked Questions

What technology does Well Enhancement Services use?
Radial Jet Enhancement technology can laterally enter new or existing oil wells in a "wheel and spoke" fashion and penetrate up to 300 feet, in up to 16 different directions, at any given depth. The technology has the ability to drill up to 8 laterals in only two days, as opposed to a typical period of four weeks per well.

Radial Jet Enhancement services target existing oil and gas wells up to 6,000 feet deep. With the use of lateral Jetting, oil that would otherwise haveremained beyond the reach of conventional technologies can now be recovered efficiently and economically. In most cases, production recovers to a point at or exceeding that of the well’s initial production. This enables drilling further into the strata at significantly lower costs than current lateral drilling techniques.

What Radial Jet Jetting does Well Enhancement Services employ?
Radial Jet Enhancement utilizes patented design and manufacturing technology of the Deflecting Shoe Boot and pressure water jetting. The figure below more precisely illustrates the process.

The Redial Jet Enhancement process works on both new and existing wells. Radial Jet Jetting performs best on formations of low permeability such as depleted wells that are ready to be capped because they are no longer economically viable. This negates the continual need for new explorations and drilling. Fields that are ready to be deserted and have about 80% of the reserves still in ground can be maximized to pull another large portion of the in ground reserve.

What does the term "zero footprint" mean?
Because Well Enhancement Services is able to utilize existing well heads to free previously trapped oil and natural gas reserves, no additional damage or clearing of the landscape is needed, thus leaving no remnants of production, thus literally leaving no print, or "zero footprint."
