NEWS RELEASE

RADIAL JET ENHANCEMENT TECHNOLOGY TURNS AROUND DRY HOLE

The Woodlands, Texas, January 16, 2007

Well Enhancement Services (WES) announced today the first confirmed ability of Radial Jet Enhancement (RJE) technology to turn a newly drilled uneconomic well (essentially a dry hole) into a profitable producing well.

RJE technology has conventionally been used to enhance the production of existing wells. This is accomplished by jetting horizontal laterals in producing formations using high pressure water jets. The resultant horizontal laterals are usually 300 ft long with an average diameter of up to 2 inches. Laterals are produced in a radial pattern around the well bore and can be accomplished at multiple depths.

The uneconomic well, the Wilke #2, is a newly drilled well in the Salt Creek field in Reno County, KS. The well was drilled in October 2006 down to the Mississippi Chert to a depth of about 3,600 ft and is located only about 600 ft away from a known offset producing well. The hole originally drill stem tested at only 20 MCFDG with bottom-hole pressure of only 450 psi.

Shortly after drilling and completion, four laterals were jet into the formation over a two-day period by a WES crew in an attempt to get back on structure toward the producing offset well nearby. After jetting laterals, the bottom-hole pressure immediately increased to 750 psi. The well produced naturally for about a week flowing about 50 MCFDG. Shortly after the New Year, the well was put on pump to offload the water, and as of January 12, 2007, the well has been producing 100 MCFDG in addition to 10 BOPD.

Bricks Corbin, the President of WES, remarked about the success with the Wilke #2, “Our ability to turn around a well that otherwise would have been plugged as a dry hole further indicates the value that Radial Jet Enhancement technology brings to the marketplace. Instead of merely focusing on revitalizing older, depleted wells, we have demonstrated that this procedure is a valuable tool to enhancing newly drilled wells that otherwise may have been deemed economic failures.”
